Approximate Location

NetVitals may derive approximate location such as city or country from your public IP address when required for network-related features. NetVitals does not use GPS coordinates or latitude/longitude for core app functionality.

If you choose to contact us or submit feedback or bug reports, we may collect information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, and message content.

Crash Logs and Diagnostics

We may collect crash logs, diagnostics, performance traces, stack traces, and technical error data to help monitor app stability and improve reliability.

Some operating systems require location-related permissions to access Wi-Fi details such as SSID/BSSID, even if precise geographic location is not being collected.

The app may store certain information locally on your device, including settings, saved results, favorites, preferences, cached lookup data, and consent choices. Local data generally remains on your device unless a feature explicitly sends related data to a third-party service.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the app, troubleshooting, security, legal compliance, and enforcing our terms. Data stored locally on your device may remain until you remove it, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app.
